MUMBAI : Anupamaa is one of the most loved television serials and number one on the TRP charts, as the storyline is gripping and relatable.

One of the main reasons the show is so successful is because of the camaraderie and good bonding among the co-stars, which is seen behind the scenes of the serial.

The audiences love the acting chops of Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Madalsa Sharma and Sudhanshu Pandey, as they make the scenes and characters look real.

One of the biggest USP of the show is the supporting cast who does such a fantastic job to enhance the performances of the rest of the actors.

Aashish K.N Mehrotra is a wonderful actor and in the show he essays the role of Toshu, a character that is hated by the audience.

But he is such a fantastic actor that his performance is always appreciated by the audience but his character is hated.

He acts so well that the audience and the fans have to hate the character as he makes it look so believable .

A character that has been grey since the beginning of the show is someone who doesn't talk well to elders, especially his mother.

Now Aashish took to social media and announced shocking news that he is quitting Anupama though the reason is still unknown.

He shared a series of photos and said that what a wonderful journey it has been and how grateful he is to be part of the show and how challenging it is to play a character that was so opposite to him.

He also said it's been a roller coaster side and he also described his character from the start to end and at the end signed off with gratitude.

Our very own Gaurav Chopra also commented on his post and said ' All the very best bro . U were awesome . Glad to get to know and work with you on this fabulous journey called “Anupamaa, TC champ'

Kunwar who essays the role of Tittu commented saying ' Will miss you on the set, I thought that our journey here will be longer together but I know you will do wonders in anything you do in life. Love you'

Well, there is no doubt that Aashish will be missed on the sets of the show but it's still unclear if the character would continue and a new actor would be brought in.
