MUMBAI: Fantasy show Hero Gayab Mode On is all set to witness a new entry.
Actor Ajay Sharma, who was last seen in Yaaro Ka Tashan, will join the cast soon.
Talking about his character, Ajay says, “I will play the role of Dr Tripathi, who is actually a spy planted by Dansh (Manish Wadhwa). He has been assigned the task of knowing the secret of the magic ring from Professor Bhatkal (Vijay Kashyap), who is a scientist and the only one who knows the whereabouts of that ring.”.
Though the actor is joining the show 15 days after it launched, he believes that he will strike a chord with the audience. “Since it has just been a few weeks since the show went on air, the audience is yet to identify with and relate to each character. So, I don’t think I am late to the party. Also, it’s an interesting character and I am certain that the audience will love this avatar of mine. While on one hand, I am playing a sophisticated doctor, on the other, I become quite nervous and comical when I come face to face with my boss.”.

Ajay was last seen as the antagonist in Yaaro Ka Tashan. He says, “After playing the negative lead, playing second fiddle to the antagonist is quite challenging in itself. However, that’s what an artiste is expected to do... go with the flow and perform any character that appeals to him. Be it the lead character or the supporting role, it is up to an actor and his acting capabilities, as to how he carves a niche for himself. I am taking my new character as just that.”.
