In a tragic development, versatile actor Ragesh B Asthanaa passed away early this morning (20 March 2014) in Mumbai. Ragesh was a renowned Bollywood and television actor. He has worked in many Bollywood movies namely Black Friday, Rakhta Charitra 2, Taxi No. 9 2 11: Nau Do Gyarah, Shabri, amongst others. Other than Bollywood movies, he has appeared in television shows like Palampur Express, Zee Horror show, Sasural Simar Ka et al. Ragesh’s close friend, Narendra, shared with us: “Yes, Ragesh passed away this morning. He was not suffering from any major disease. His death is quite shocking. He breathed his last at 4.30 am and it was a sudden natural death.” Ragesh hailed from Uganda. Other than films he also had a keen interest in drama and theater. He is survived by his wife (Jyoti) and two children (Nanaki and Yuvraj). Our heartfelt condolences to Ragesh’s family!
