It’s time for some ‘Mud Mania’ with the Mud Rush all set to happen on 9 February 2013 at Kolad, which is a two hour drive from Mumbai. The adventure sports event was launched on 30 January 2013 at Phoenix High City, Mumbai by actors Saahil Chadha and Mishal Raheja. The two actors had the audience in splits with their antics. They also handed over a cheque of Rs. 51, 000/- in charity on behalf of the organizers to Capt. Swami Nath, Ex-Army Personnel for the Sainik Welfare Board. The main event of Mud Rush will happen on 9 February and the event not only caters to the youth but also to the adventure-friendly families. So what is Mud Rush all about? It is a 7 Km marathon with obstacles, like tyres, ropes, water bodies etc which have been designed by the Captain himself. Are you ready for the 7 Km course which has 15 odd obstacles to break you down? Talking about the preview launch of Mud Rush, actor Saahil Chadha says, “I thoroughly enjoyed the event. Mud Rush to me is sheer magic. It not only tests the endurance and fitness levels of an individual, it also tests the patience. It was great fun to be at the preview. I will try my best to be part of the main event too.” If Mud Rush is muddy and full of adventure in its first half, the other half of the event is filled with music and dance. Yes, post the event, there will be a massive party with lots of fun and entertainment. And that’s exactly how Mishal sums up the event saying, “Mud Rush is a very nice concept. It is something new in this country with military style activities in the first half and music, food and drinks in the second half.
