Well, now, we have learned that a couple of days back, actress Geetika Mehandru who plays the character of Ginni in the show got severely injured. She suffered an injury near her eye but fortunately, it wasn’t too critical.

We contacted Geetika and she confirmed the buzz with us. She said, “The cast and crew often indulge in fun and games between the shoot, and the other day a few people were playing cricket on the sets. I got hit near the eye with a ball. The area near my eyebrow was swollen and there was a small cut as well. The production crew really took good care of me and calmed me down. Anita ma’am (Kulwant Kaur) gave me medicine because of which the swelling started to mellow down. The crew let me rest for around two to three hours so that the wound would settle. I gave my shot towards the end of the day.”

She further added, “Now the swelling has almost disappeared while a little mark is still visible near my eye. However, we’re using make-up to hide the same. I’m glad that nothing critical happened.”

TellyChakkar.com wishes Geetika a speedy recovery!

Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
