MUMBAI: Divya Bhatnagar, known for her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 34. The actress had been battling COVID-19 for a few days but lost her fight to the deadly virus. Divya's untimely demise has sent shockwaves across the industry. While close ones are reeling over the loss, Divya's good friend Devoleena Bhattacharjee has made some 'shocking revelations' about the late actress' married life and exposed her husband Gagan Gabru. She accused Gagan of domestic violence and mental abuse. Now, another friend and actress Nidhi Uttam, who was a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, joined Devoleena in exposing Divya’s husband. Nidhi too took to social media and posted a video about Divya’s troubled married life. Nidhi stated that Divya expressed her ordeal to her and spoke at length about the domestic violence along with physical and mental abuse that she went through ay the hands of her husband.

Later, Nidhi also shared a few disturbing pictures of bruises on Divya’s body because of the atrocities done by her husband Gagan.
