MUMBAI: Rudhraksh Jaiswal is a young and effervescent boy who kick-started his career in the year 2013, as he bagged
the role of Sahadeva in the magnum opus Mahabharata which aired on Star Plus. Subsequently, as a teen, he
went on to earn many more prominent roles in series and films including the recent Hollywood release
‘Extraction’ alongside Avengers fame Chris Hemsworth. Keeping the buzz alive, talented actor Rudhraksh is
now all set to essays the role of Anshuman Chittoda in Star Plus’ upcoming finite series ‘Rudrakaal’.
 
Widening his multi-faceted and extraordinary journey, Rudhraksh stepped into the world of films. The latest
addition to his long list of achievements is being a part of the multi-starrer film named Extraction featuring
Chris Hemsworth, Randeep Hooda, Pankaj Tripathi and others. Currently, in the 12th grade, Rudhraksh
continues to pursue his studies as well as strives to keep his passion for acting alive side by side. To fit into the
skin of his character, Rudhraksh in the upcoming show ‘Rudrakaal’ he was seen putting in a lot of effort and
hard work.
 
As he prepared for his upcoming role, talented actor Rudhraksh mentioned “Anshuman Chittoda as a
character is different in its own way although I have essayed similar characters in the past. It required me to
fulfill its various requirements. To fit into the skin of the character, I had to watch a couple of movies which
helped me bring out the right amount of emotion required. I had also especially learned how to play the guitar
and managed to do so by watching few videos. Besides that, we (cast from the show) attended workshops. It
helped us understand the storyline and our characters in depth. I’m positive that the audience will enjoy
watching our thrilling performances.”

Uday Goswami (DCP Ranjan Chittoda) & Dipannita Sharma (DCP’s wife and Anshuman’s mother) alongside
Rudhraksh Jaiswal in lead roles.
