In just a month, the leads of Star Plus’ Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan have been replaced.

The Balaji Telefilms’ daily launched to much fanfare, with youth faces Shritama Mukherjee, Vibhav Roy and Gautam Gupta signed in as leads.

With the show not managing to garner the required numbers, the makers chose to go in for a major replacement by ousting two of them.

Vibhav and Shritama have been replaced overnight, and Balaji’s popular faces Aly Goni (Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) and Asha Negi (Pavitra Rishta) have been brought on board to play the role of Raj and Koel respectively.

Woah! Isn’t it shocking?

The report in the national daily mentioned the makers expelling the duo and getting Aly-Asha to help pull up the TRP ratings.

Shritama has been quoted saying that though things are unclear at the moment, she has worked really hard for the show and wouldn’t thus be saddened by the developments.
