What ails Life OK’s Amrit Manthan (produced by Director’s Kut)? First, it was Eijaz Khan who decided to opt out of the show and now we have learnt that actor Amit Dhawan has also waved goodbye to it. He played the role of Amrit-Nimrit’s father. Amit was not happy with the way his character was shaping up. “I finally decided to quit the show as it was not developing the way it was initially been told and explained to me. As per my understanding, I was not being able to do justice to my character as well,” confirmed Amit to Tellychakkar.com. The decision to move on was taken mutually by Amit and the production house. Amit’s three-month contract ended and he did not want to renew it any further. Looking ahead, Amit said, “Now I am open to other opportunities and few offers are also there in the pipeline. Let’s see what materializes first.” Well…life moves on, Amit!!!
