MUMBAI : SonyLIV’s original series Undekhi has ticked off all boxes of a good crime thriller keeping the audience glued with its gripping script, terrific performances, and suspense. Not only has the series amused the audiences but also earned applause from veterans in the industry. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap recently heaped praises for actor Anchal Singh who plays the bride Teji Grewal in the series and Apeeksha Porwal who plays the role of Koyal. Anurag took to Instagram to personally message the actress appreciating her performance in Undekhi.

Lauding her performance, Anurag Kashyap said, “Very good performance. Just finished binge watching.” Not only Anchal, Anurag Kashyap has also applauded Apeeksha Porwal and Abhishek Chauhan’s performance with a similar message who plays the role of Rishi, a filmmaker in the series. Accolades flowing in from one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed filmmakers have left the actors pumped with joy and excitement.

Anchal reacts to his kind words saying, “When Anurag Kashyap himself messages you, you know for sure, there is something you’ve done right. He is someone whom I look up to, and am a huge fan of his work, he inspires all of us so deeply. I feel blessed and thankful to Undekhi for giving me this special moment in life, that I’ll always cherish.”

Abhishek, on seeing a message from Anurag Kashyap said, “It was so sweet of him to have sent a message. My first monologue was from a play adapted by him, he had directed my first ad and now he also messaged me after my first web series release. So, I see a connection there.”

Apeksha while expressing her happiness said “When i saw his message I was filled with elation and gratitude, I couldn’t believe one of my favorite filmmakers had messaged me for my performance in Undekhi. These words will always be precious and go a long way in motivating me. A big thank you to everyone who trusted me with Koyal and helped me become her.”

Surya expressing his happiness said “ When I got a call from Anurag Sir I couldn’t believe it. It was so surreal to talk to him he not only appreciated me about my performance but also gave me few guru mantras about an actor’s life and other things.
