Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd’s Diya Aur Baati Hum, on Star Plus, has recently witnessed a new track which marked the entry of Ankur (Varun Khandelwal). On top of that, Ankur has a cute little daughter too.
However, in the upcoming sequences Ankur will be shown getting more considerate towards his sister Sandhya (Deepika Singh).

Our source informed us that Sandhya, who has accepted her new lifestyle, will not be willing to pursue further studies. However, Ankur will help her cherish her dream and help her to go ahead and explain the same to Suraj (Anas Rashid) also.
Ankur will do all this as he also has a daughter and feels guilty that because of him Sandhya could not pursue further studies. It was he who wanted Sandhya to get married as he always treated her as a burden in his life. Finally, Sandhya will appear for IPS entrance.
When we contacted Varun Khandelwal, he confirmed the news saying, “I will support my sister Sandhya to fulfill her dreams.”
