MUMBAI: Anup and Jasleen grabbed the headlines after they had confirmed their relationship before entering the Bigg Boss 12. His revelation not just shocked the contestants inside the house but also the host of the show, Salman Khan, as well as the public. However, as soon as he was evicted from the show, Anup came clean and said that Jasleen was not his lover but that the duo shared a guru–shishya relationship.

On the occasion of Valentine's Day, a leading publication quizzed Anup about his plans with Jasleen.

To this, the singer said that everyone is aware of how he and Jasleen were projected as a couple of Bigg Boss only for TRP and that their relationship is of a student and teacher.

Anup also added that he is looking out for a boy for Jasleen and that she will celebrate Valentine's Day when she finds a perfect partner. Speaking about his plans, he said that he has celebrated quite a few Valentine Days in his life and partied in foreign countries as well.

He further added that the day of love should be celebrated every day throughout the year and not be restricted to a single day. After he was evicted from the Bigg Boss house, he revealed that people didn’t understand their relationship, which was only restricted to music.
