Actress Archana Karmakar is pretty excited about her brief debut in the recently released Ram Gopal Verma movie Satya 2. The petite girl who has done few episodics on television considers this as a big break towards achieving her goals as an actress. In Satya 2, she plays the daughter of Mr. Malhotra who is one of the top builders in Mumbai. The girl gets raped after which the father is not able to get justice for his daughter even after boasting of having all the richness. This is when the father and daughter approach Satya for help, and he trains the girl in taking her own revenge after which the girl goes and kills her rapist as part of a well-made plan. When contacted, Archana tells us, “Well, it is just a brief role that I have in Satya 2. But the experience I gained as an actor is enormous. Working with RGV Sir is a dream come true. He has the sixth sense to see a person and decide what role the person can fit into. I am glad to be part of Satya 2. The film is getting a good response.” While Archana knocks on the doors of Bollywood with Satya 2, her passion for working in TV continues. She has recently shot for an episode of Savdhan India – India Fights Back for Life OK. The story produced by Rowdy Rascals is about how this girl who belongs to the lower caste fights back to get her sect of people the required rights. This particular episode will be on air next week.
