MUMBAI: Asim Riaz has become a household name ever since he has participated in Bigg Boss 13. The actor-model didn't know how his life would change post participating in this popular reality show. 

The handsome hunk has become a heartthrob of the nation and his fan following is increasing with every passing day. 

Asim didn't win Bigg Boss 13's trophy but became the first runner-up of the show. Fans kept showering love on the actor till the end of the show.

There's no looking back for Asim as he is quite in demand these days. Asim went on to bag multiple projects post his stint in Bigg Boss and he has never failed to entertain us. 

Being an outsider, the journey for Asim was not that easy. Despite that, he proved that nothing is impossible. 

Asim is the first choice when it comes to music videos these days. The actor has done a series of music videos and most of them proved to be a huge hit among the fans. 

However, there's a reason behind Asim doing so many music videos back-to-back. 

In one of his interviews, Asim opened up about the same. 

Asim revealed how he is still struggling to get a big break in Bollywood and how he was insulted and never got support from Bollywood producers and directors. 

Asim said, ''I have gone through a lot and the reason why I am doing back-to-back music videos is because I have been rejected for films by so many.'' 

He further added, ''I didn't win any modelling contest so I didn't have the tag which was needed by people to offer me films. I was coming out-of-the-blue and directly going for auditions and crack it by myself.'' 

Well, though Asim's journey hasn't been easy so far, it is quite fulfilling the way he has risen to stardom in such a short span of time.
