MUMBAI :Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings.

The plot is about Anupama, who parts with her ambitions and goals in a bid to raise her family, and feels dejected when she fails to get any credit for her sacrifices and trials. She then decides to live on her own terms.

These days, the show's track is quite interesting as the narrative focuses on Anupama and Anuj's post-marriage life.

According to the current plot of the show, Baa is not happy with Anupama’s involvement in the rape case because she is afraid of the goons who are behind their life. The goons start targeting Pakhi and kidnap her. This leaves everyone in the family shocked. Baa goes to the Kapadia house and causes chaos, since it is because of Anupama that Pakhi’s life is in danger.

On one hand, the family is receiving threat notes and Baa fears that something might happen to them. On the other hand, Anupama is adamant to fight this and bring justice to Dimple.

Netizens feel that Anupama sometimes gets too emotional and behaves impractically. She always has to do the right thing but the right thing isn’t always practical. She needs to understand the consequences of her actions might not always be in her favour.

This is not the first time Anupama seems impractical. Everytime there is a tough situation, she gets emotional and wishes to just stand with what is right.

The audience feels that just because she is the lead and a positive character, everything turns out to be good for her in the end which is not the case in reality.

Priya Banerjee: It is great that Anupama always stands with what is right but in reality, the outcome is not always in your favour. The consequences of trying to fight something can be bad and the people might have to suffer more. Anupama needs to be more practical.

Soniya Sharma: The actions sometimes can backfire and therefore need to be thought about practically. Anuapama only thinks through one perspective and I feel needs to be more realistic towards situations.

Nivedita Sahay: Anupama’s approach is always to be the epitome of truth and honesty. She does not understand or thinks through her decision and just goes with it. It happens so that everything turns out well for her but that is not the case in reality. This can be misleading too. People might always just try to stand for what is right and that is correct but sometimes practicality is more important than justice.

Prachi Dubey:  I wish Anupama thought more realistically and gave the audience a message over what happens if you always think emotionally and in just one direction. But she wishes and chooses to be the epitome of justice; the consequences favour her because in the end they show matters getting sorted. I wish there was more reality to it.
