Audience reaction motivates an actor: Amit Pachori

Actor Amit Pachori, who is currently playing the role of a cop, Inspector Ranveer, on Life Ok's ‘Shapath’ (Fireworks Productions), said that audience’s reactions encourages an actor to perform. Sharing his experience, he said, “Two years back, when I joined Shapath, a viewer misidentified me as the CID (Sony TV) cop, now this can be due to the fact that both the shows are directed and produced by the same production house. But today, people identify me by my character in Shapath. This reaction motivates me a lot." When the actor was asked about whether he ever felt bad due to the comparison drawn between his show and CID, he took it in his stride and was all praises for the rival show. “Our team often shoots with the CID team on the same sets, since the makers of both the shows are the same. There cannot be any comparison actually. They (CID Team) have already reached a place, where they cannot be compared," he said. “Everyone on the CID team, including Dayanand Shetty, Sivaji Satam, and Aditya Srivastava are so helpful. And being our seniors in the industry, they always guide us. They have been very supportive," he added. The actor was also asked about his favourite role, and he immediately said that the role of Tatya Tope in the series Jhansi Ki Rani was his favourite. “I really liked the role of Tantya Tope as I am very fond of doing action. This role has given me the perfect chance to do so. I had to do sword fighting, and then horse riding, which was very thrilling for me”, said the actor. Amit, who loves performing action scenes as he believes them to be something different, has also hurt himself quite a few times, while shooting for Shapath. But the action hero finds even that to be a great experience! On that note, let's hope that none of his injuries become too serious.
