MUMBAI: The latest BARC viewership data has once again shed light on the ever-evolving preferences of Indian television audiences, offering a clear snapshot of the current favourites on the small screen.

Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Safar has taken a remarkable leap in the charts this week, securing its place among the top three most-watched shows. The surge in viewership highlights the growing connection the audience feels with this compelling drama.

Meanwhile, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Parineetii, and Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav have experienced a noticeable dip in their ratings, signalling a shift in viewer interest that could prompt changes in upcoming storylines.

On a positive note, Mannat – Harr Khushi Paane Ki and Laughter Chef Season 2 have both enjoyed a boost in ratings, reflecting increased engagement and renewed enthusiasm from the audience.

However, it’s been a slightly rough week for Bhagya Lakshmi and KumKum Bhagya, both of which have seen a decline in their numbers, suggesting a need to reignite the spark that once drew in loyal fans.

At the top of the leaderboard, Udne Ki Aasha has soared to first place, followed closely by the ever-popular Anupama. In third comes the high-climbing Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Safar, with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and the original Mangal Lakshmi rounding off the top five, proving their continued grip on viewers' hearts.
