MUMBAI: Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta, who met on the sets of Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam, got married in 2008 and were together for 14 years before parting ways in 2022. The couple, who share a daughter named Meira born in 2011, faced rumors suggesting Indraneil’s alleged relationship with Bengali actress Ishaa Saha contributed to their separation.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha opened up about her past relationship with Karan Singh Grover. The duo first met on the sets of the 2004 teen drama series Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. Barkha fondly recalled Karan’s kindness, saying, “He was inherently kind, which attracted me. In Mumbai, kindness isn’t common, so I was drawn to it. He was also very good-looking—the six-pack abs, and I was just 23!” She described their two-year relationship as a meaningful connection but admitted they eventually grew apart.
She explained, “Nothing went wrong; our views and perspectives on life were different. He was two years younger, and as we matured, the age gap became more noticeable. I’m still very fond of him and wish him the best.”
Karan Singh Grover, now married to actress Bipasha Basu, welcomed their daughter Devi in 2022. Barkha’s own marriage to Indraneil Sengupta ended the same year.
