Bigg Boss is a BIG no for me: Shekhar Suman

Shekhar Suman

When we meet the talented TV and Bollywood personality Shekhar Suman, it takes us back to TV's one and only, Movers and Shakers.

The actor, with his ready wit and comic timing, is definitely a delight to talk with.

On currently being one of the judges on SABTV’s Comedy Superstar, he shared, “Comedy Superstar will not hunt a person who is only a stand-up comedian, but a package of entertainment. It is a show where we will talk about our existence, struggle and all of that.”

What is entertainment for you? “For me, entertainment is about engagement. A person who can engage with people easily is a good entertainer," he added.

What's your take on beef and porn ban?  “I think putting a ban makes no sense. There are many things which are harmless but they are easily available in market. There is an alcohol ban in Gujrat but yet the maximum number of sale comes from that city. But I am strictly against child pornography," he said.

When will see you come back with your own talk show? “I would love to once I get the time. It’s very time-consuming and requires lot of in-depth studies. People are still curious about Movers and Shakers' comeback."

What about doing a fiction show? “Well, I don’t mind. But you can’t expect me to do regressive shows."

Which show is very close to your heart? “I really miss my show Reporters. Given a chance, I would love to do such kind of series.

How about participating on Bigg Boss? “Bigg Boss is a big no. I am not open to such shows. In fact, I participated on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa just to overcome my fear of dancing. And I scored pretty, so that was a big victory for me," He signed off.
