MUMBAI :  Rupali Ganguly has been riding high on the popularity of her show Anupamaa. Currently one of the most popular television programs, it discusses women's financial freedom. Anupama, the principal actress, portrays how hard it is for her to establish a name for herself. Anupama continues to move forward despite being targeted even after divorcing her husband.

Rupali married businessman Ashwin K. Verma in February 2013. The couple have a son Rudransh. Rupali Ganguly has an immense fan base and the fans love her a lot.

Rupali has been a part of the industry for almost 3 decades now. She has been loved in every role she portrayed. Rupali made her acting debut at the tender age of seven with her father's film Saaheb in 1985. She made her television debut in Sukanya in 2000, and has also appeared in Sanjivani and Bhabhi. She received widespread recognition and critical acclaim for her portrayal of Monisha Sarabhai in the cult sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. She was later a part of Sony TV’s Parvarrish- Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. 

In this long journey, there have been a few times when Rupali has broken down or gotten emotional publicly. Here are a few times when that happened:

1)      She was a part of Bigg Boss season 1 in 2006. Rahul Roy emerged as the winner of the season. Rupali was seen breaking down a lot of times in the show.  She fought with Rakhi, with Carol many times, and felt bad about it which made her cry. Her feelings got hurt and she used to break down easily.

2)      During an award ceremony recently, her brother was nominated for an award. His brother won the award and she got so overwhelmed that she felt emotional. She felt so happy and proud of her brother.

3)      During another one of the award ceremonies, she was nominated for a highly recognized award and she won. When asked about how she felt, she got emotional and spoke about how grateful she felt. She even mentioned that it all feels like a dream that she never wants to come out of. 

She is one of the finest TV actresses and has a massive audience who love her. The show Anupama has been running high on TRPs ever since it began and does not look like it is going to stop. The audience cannot wait to see what unfolds.
