From a computer science graduate to a student of London Film Academy, Sneha Wagh plans to make a film one day

MUMBAI : Popular television actor Sneha Wagh got her break in the Hindi television industry with the show ‘Jyoti’. The women-centric show where she played the lead role of Jyoti, is based on the characters daily struggle to make ends meet, her sacrifices, dreams and ambitions while being the only earning member in her family.

Apart from being a brilliant actor, Sneha is a computer graduate too. Due to her immense interest in the movie making industry and to further enhance her skills she learnt filmmaking from London Film Academy.

Talking about her passion towards filmmaking, Sneha Wagh said, “I never wanted to pursue acting. I entered the industry unplanned but ended up loving my job. Since I entered the industry at a very young age, I didn’t let that affect my studies. I completed my graduation in computer science and further went to London Film Academy to learn filmmaking. At London Film Academy, my inclination towards film-making grew to such an extent that I plan to make a film one day.”

Jyoti is a story of how a young woman who sacrifices her dreams, to fulfil the needs of her family. She conquers all kinds of obstacles so that her family can lead a decent life.

Jyoti currently airs daily on Dangal at 9 pm with its repeat telecast followed at 10 am the next day.
