MUMBAI: Actor Gautam Nain, who is popularly known for his role Rishi in the hit television show Kumkum Bhagya, became a proud father today. Gautam's wife gave birth to a baby boy today (April 12). He is married to Indonesian entrepreneur and actress, Soffie Marchu.

"I'm the happiest person. Like I have no regrets about anything. It seems like God has gifted me all I wanted. As a new daddy, I will have a good time with my little one. At the same time, I am going to enjoy changing diapers, refilling milk bottles, and singing nursery rhymes on my new and most beautiful adventure ride," he said.

Gautam, who is on cloud nine after entering the fatherhood journey expressed his feelings when he first held his baby in his hands, "When I first held my son in my hands, I had a feeling like I am getting some reward or special power and that is going to make my life most beautiful and blissful.”

Talking about taking paternity leave and fulfilling the father’s duties, Gautam said, "I will have to be more responsible now. As I wish to get my kid in this world and fulfill all the duties, the same way my parents got me into this world. My wife and I will for sure manage our time so that we do come out as the best parents and best professionals."

The couple has decided to call him Ishaan."
