Tellychakkar.com was the first to inform readers about Saba Mumtaz getting a new show on Sony Entertainment Television.

The series that will present a unique love tale between an older man and a younger girl is touted to be the next new age romance on the small screen.

Titled Bandhe Ek Dori Se, the project will be helmed under the banner Mumtaz Saba Productions. It will be co produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary (Swastik Productions). This would be the duo’s second offering after Meri Saasu Maa.

Now coming to the Sony TV show, as already reported in the media, Eijaz Khan will play the lead role. And here we get you the name of the young girl paired opposite him.

D4 fame, Niyati Fatnani who showed off her sexy moves in the youth centric show has bagged the coveted role.

Shared a source, “The leads have been locked and the show will go on floors soon. It is a beautiful tale and will be based in Gujarat. The mature love story will be an emotional one and the makers promise to make it connect to viewers.”

Niyati did not answer our calls and messages. We will update you with her comments as soon as we hear from her.

We tried reaching out to the producers but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story.
