MUMBAI: Shaheer Sheikh is one of the most popular stars of the small screen who is constantly in the news ever since he had made his relationship official on social media. 

The actor got married in a hush-hush wedding on 27th November with ladylove Ruchikaa Kapoor. 

Shaheer's personal and professional life is on a roll with some amazing projects he has done so far and now being settled down in life.

While Shaheer's major shows have been a huge hit, there were many shows which were offered to the actor but apparently, he turned down the offer. 

So, let's take a look at 5 TV shows which were apparently rejected by Shaheer:

1. Chandragupt Maurya 

Shaheer was apparently offered the lead role on this show but he turned down the offer and Rajat Tokas bagged it. 

2. Diya Aur Baati Hum 

As per some sources, Shaheer was considered for the lead role of Sooraj but he didn't go for it. Later, Anas Rashid bagged the role and rest is history. 

3. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

Arnav Singh Raizada's role which was played by Barun Sobti was first offered to Shaheer. However, as per sources, the actor didn't accept it. 

4. Devon Ke Dev Mahadev 

The handsome star was apparently considered to play Lord Shiva's role in this popular show. Well, Shaheer rejected it and Mohit Raina went on to play this iconic character. 

5. Siya Ke Ram

The actor was yet again offered another mytho-drama series Siya Ke Ram for playing the titular role. However, Shaheer apparently refused for this one too. 

Well, Shaheer's loss proved to be profitable for many actors. 

Shaheer has proved his mettle in acting for shows like Navya, Mahabharat, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke among others.
