MUMBAI: On February 20 of this year, well-known actress Divya Agarwal married restaurateur Apurva Padgaonkar, her boyfriend. Now that the couple has been married for barely three months, there have been rumours of a divorce after Divya deleted all of their wedding pictures from her Instagram account.
An unknown user noticed this and shared it on the social media handle, "Divorce suspected? Divya Agarwal has deleted all her wedding pics and not even a single picture with her husband at present."
Several internet users visited Divya's Instagram account as soon as this post was made to confirm that she had really removed all of her images with Apurva. Apurva has also deleted every picture from their wedding.
Reacting to this surprising social media behaviour from both of them, one user wrote "She is literally sooo dramatic and an attention seeker, she has removed all of her wedding pics as well as most of her posts too, her feed is filled with rarely any pictures", while another called it a PR stunt and added, "This seems just like a flop PR plan. Because only yesterday were videos of them declaring how much they are in love and how happy she is with the wedding."
Just a few days prior to the actress's statement that she feels more loved now that she is married, Divya and Apurva were sighted together at a public function. The pair hasn't yet commented or responded to the rumours of their divorce.
Following her appearances on a number of reality shows, including MTV Splitsvilla 10, Bigg Boss OTT 1, and MTV Ace of Space 1 (which she ultimately won), Divya made her acting debut in the 2019 horror web series Ragini MMS: Returns 2. She later starred in two more web series, Cartel (2021) and Abhay (2022).
