MUMBAI: Recently popular shows like Jamai Raja and Qubool Hai returned with new seasons in a series format on an OTT platform. And now there is strong buzz about Zee TV’s another iconic show may return with a second instalment.

TellyChakkar has learnt that popular show Pavitra Rishta, which aired on Zee TV starring Ankita Lokhande and late Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead roles, is mostly returning with a new season on ZEE’s OTT platform ZEE5 and Ekta Kapoor’s digital space ALTBalaji.

We hear that ZEE and Balaji Telefilms are yet keen to bring the show back with a new star cast. Though the talks are at a very initial stage, the chances are quite high.

These days makers are keen to have hit shows’ comeback but on digital platforms.
