MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.

We’ve been at the forefront of reporting updates about Star Plus show Sharya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani.

The show has received a lot of appreciation lately, and the story has now progressed towards Shaurya and Anokhi realising their love for each other. (Read here: Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani: Devi blackmails Shaurya  )

Well, to spice up their love story, the makers have planned a new twist in the tale. Actress Swarda Thigale will enter the show as Shagun. The character was earlier played by Bhavna Chauhan.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Swarda to know more about her entry in the show. We asked her whether she was apprehensive about entering the show by replacing an actress, and she said, “I wasn’t really apprehensive because Shagun will be reentering the show with a completely new flavour. Of course, there’s pressure when we take up a role that is already established by another actor. However, the brief that has been given to me is different. Also, Shagun is a strong-headed and loving personality, and hence, I thought of grabbing the opportunity of playing a dynamic character.”

We asked her whether she’s ready to bare the brunt as the audience might not like a third wheel in Shaurya and Anokhi’s love story, and she said, “Shagun is not really a negative character. She is a girl who’s genuinely in love. She has made a few mistakes, and now, she’s back to compensate for those mistakes. She has realised her love for Shaurya and wants him back in her life. She isn’t really aware of Anokhi’s existence. She just wants to win back Shaurya, and for the same, she would try a few tactics, which would go against ethics.”

Swarda further added, “I have shot only for a while on the sets of the show. I’ve shot with Alka Kaushal, and I must say, not for a moment did I feel that I’m a new entrant on the sets. The atmosphere is very warm, and the crew is quite welcoming.”
