MUMBAI: Saanand Verma is a very talented actor.

Speaking about his experience shooting for Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, Saananad shared, “This is one of the best experiences of my career and I feel I am extremely fortunate that I got to do this show and the character of Saxena is very close to my heart. I am very proud that ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai’ is an integral part of my life. The show has definitely changed my career.

For the first time in my acting career, I really got recognition for a particular character and millions of people started recognizing me. It is the first character that really gave me the identity and recognition in terms of being an actor. Actors just have one dream which is to be recognized, and for the first time in my career, I started getting appreciation for Anokhelal Saxena’s character in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. So definitely it changed my career!

Speaking about what medium of entertainment he enjoys the most, Saananad said, “I enjoy films the most because in films you play an important role. The experience of viewing content on the big screen is absolutely different and films are very larger than life. For me, films absolutely are the top priority for me actually. The OTT space is a lifesaver for the entertainment industry because as you know that because of this pandemic situation there is no other avenue of getting entertained so you just cannot go to theatres, you cannot go to amusement parks.

The OTT space is here to survive and it’s actually the future of entertainment in this country and the world. I would like to say one more thing that OTT space is amazing, it is fantastic but you cannot compare OTT space with feature films. It is more like you might get a nice home theatre, you might get a very big-screen television and everything is very perfect but still, you cannot beat theatrical experience.”
