Fans and viewers have connected to Anupamaa so deeply that they couldn't afford to miss even a single episode of the show.

The show Anupamaa has been trending not only for Anuj and Anupamaa's brewing chemistry but also for Leela and Paritosh's reactions to the same. Now, the highly anticipated love confession is around the corner and fans are extremely excited about it, we got in touch with Gaurav Khanna aka fans favourite Anuj Kapadia to know his views on the current track. 

#MaAn's love story brings back the old school romance, what is that one thing that you adore about it?

#MaAn's love story has become an example in the current television industry and it actually brings back the old school romance because the kind of feedback that we are getting from the viewers is just amazing. We always say that our target audience who loves MaAn could be of any age from 4-84 years. That is the spectrum we are catering to, somewhere it is working because it's a very pure sort of romance, it is innocent and not today's. Even when we are writing the scenes or doing them we make sure that we don't lose the emotion, that has been the icing on the cake. There are a lot of romance-driven shows on tv but Anupamaa's USP has been that every scene is from the heart, very real, very old-school and that's why it works so well. 

The confession is around the corner, what was your reaction on the track when the makers introduced it?

 I would only say that 'Kisi bhi cheez ko shiddat se chaho' you know the lines. The reaction has been great, people have loved the promo, everywhere we go people are talking about it. It is very heart-warming, this is a mature love story and it proves that if you portray a story with all the innocence and with all the efforts then the audience really accepts it with open hearts and arms. 

What is your take on the current track that introduced a subtle hint of a Live-in relationship with the essence of 90's love, how do you think it has influenced the viewers?

As we always say, we are the new generation and open to everything, but I feel in all the right ways a show like Anupamaa teaches these modern concepts in such subtle old school ways. In every episode there is teaching hidden, we often feel Anupamaa has these lectures but due credit to the dialogue writers and creative team bringing it to the screen actually hit the right chords, as they are so true for today and that's why the show is so successful. We aren't trying to teach it we are just showing how would they turn in the protagonist's life. 

Talking about Live-in relationships with the old-school romance, in today's fast-moving world where emotions, family ties, love and relationships are so fickle, something which is so pure and innocent is always accepted by the viewers. That's how the story of #MaAn, #Anupamaa, #AnujKapadia is, in a world of different colours there is something as pure as white and everything gravitates to it. Thanks to all the fans for loving me as Anuj Kapadia and Rajan Sir for bringing such a character to me.
