MUMBAI: Devoleena Bhattacharjee is one of the known and successful actresses of television and she has a massive fan following. 

The actress is known for her role in serials like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Sawaare Sabke Sapne... Preeto, Diya Aur Baati Hum and many more. 

She had participated in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 13 and Season 14 and she was known as the most controversial contestant. 

She is all set to be seen in  the serial Dil Diyaan Gallaan where she would be playing the lead in the serial.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her what was her experience in shooting the serial and was it an instant yes to play the character. 

What do you have to say about the show, how has the experience been shooting for the show? 

I am enjoying the character and the pain is only that a lot of time is going in traveling to reach the sets but it's worth it to do the character as there are so many twists and turns. There is a lot of opportunity to essay so many emotions and there are a lot of things to play with. I always wanted to play a character like this and finally it has happened. 

Once again post Saath Nibhaana Saathiya you  are collaborating with Rashmi Telefilms. What do you have to say about it? 

I always look forward to working with this production house and for me I like to work with a production house where I feel comfortable and I like to be associated with them and they are like family and it's like my second home. 

When you were offered the character what was your reaction like? 

Usually the casting director approaches me, but a few months back Rashami mam had approached me for some other role in another serial but I couldn't do it as I didn't have the dates and was out of town and I had felt bad. Then when I got a call for this show, there was no way I was going to say a no. When he narrated the character and story for the first time itself I got attracted to it and I loved it and hence I signed it. 

Well, the fans are excited to see Devoleena Bhattacharjee back on screen in a new character.
