MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is coming up with a reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail and they would have to play the game and fight for getting bail to survive on the show. 

Kangana Ranaut will be making her OTT debut with the show as the host where she will be guiding the contestants. 

Poonam Pandey, Ishaan Seghal, Miesha Iyer, Pratik Sehjapal, and Shehnaaz Gill are possible contestants. 

Nisha Rawal is one of the confirmed contestants of the show and she had hit the headlines last year for her separation from husband Karan Mehra. 

Nisha is all set to be locked in the upcoming reality show and she would be playing the game and hoping to reach the finale.

Before she gets locked up, TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about the challenges that she would be facing leaving her child behind for so many days and what kind of people would make her furious. 

You will be leaving your little one behind for so many days. What are the challenges you would be facing? 

The decision to do the show itself was a difficult one as I had to leave my son behind as he is small and is extremely close to me. But at one point, I will have to venture out and do something. That’s why I have accepted the show. I will have to stay away from him, though he has a routine, which he would be following. Like Sunday is chocolate day for him. When I go to work normally, he does ask me when I would return, and I do come back the same day, but this time, it’s going to be for a long time. It’s going to be challenging and difficult for me but he has given me a lot of strength to do the show and I am sure his love will help me survive in the house 

What kind of people will put you off and will make you furious? 

I hate people who lie to themselves and cannot be true to their character. I will completely break ties off with them. I will pull someone up for that. I can see through people and would be able to judge who is true and who is false. 

Considering a few tasks that we have seen in Bigg Boss, where the contestants had to tear photos of people they love to survive in the game, how would you deal with such situations? 

The blessing that we have is that we have a reference show which is similar to this, and thus, we know about a few tasks. If something like this comes, I am open to it as there is no game without challenges. This is a reality show and one needs to be prepared for the worst. I am here to entertain the audience and play the game. I am open to every challenge that comes my way.   

Well, it will be interesting to see how Nisha would be playing the game and if she will be able to reach the end or not.
