Zee TV show Bhagya Lakshmi has launched only recently and the audience cannot have enough of the drama on the show. The serial currently witnesses how after the demise of their father, Lakshmi and her two sisters are brought to Mumbai by their uncle and aunty. The aunt is vicious and wants her daughter to marry a rich man and on the other hand, she wants Lakshmi to get married off somewhere else.
Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti’s chemistry already has the audience smitten and now, Annkit Bhatia is set to take the drama a notch ahead with his acting chops. Playing the role of Baalvinder, Rishi’s driver and the lead actress Lakshmi’s fiancé, he shared his experience shooting for the show.
Annkit shared, “This is not the first time that I am playing a negative role but if you talk about the character, I am in love with it! It has a major contribution to the storyline. The director has given me a free hand to add creative inputs so I am happy with that and I am getting a good response for my character too. I have been offered many shows prior to this by Balaji Telefilms but I did not want to do cameo appearances. This role is performance based and that is what made me opt for the role.”
When asked if he can call himself a director’s actor, Annkit averred, “Absolutely! I am 100 percent a director’s actor. I give suggestions and inputs and only if he thinks that it is better, we go ahead. If he denies I absolutely agree and perform according to him, as he knows best what he wants with the character and stories.”
