MUMBAI: Qurbaan Hua is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, and the story keeps the audience hooked. 

The show is produced by Sonali Jaffar and Amir Jaffar under the banner of Full House Media and airs on Star Plus. It stars Karan Jotwani and Pratibha Ranta in the lead roles. 

Sapna Devalkar is a popular television and social media star. 

She is currently seen on the show Qurbaan Hua, where she essays the role of Alaknanda. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Sapna and asked her about her audition process, to which the actress said that initially she had auditioned for the role of Chahat, but things didn’t work with the production house.

Post that, she had signed another show, and then, a few months later, she got a call from the creative team again and they told her about the role of Alaknanda and how it’s a parallel lead in the show. She took it up and thus was balancing two shows at that time. 

She also said that she is extremely close to Pratibha Ranta off the sets, and they have a lot of fun.

Sapna said that she gets along with everyone on the sets of the show but has a special bond with Pratibha and that’s why the acting looks so real on-screen.
