MUMBAI : Aakash Ahuja is slowly making his name in the entertainment world. The actor is best known for his role in Thapki Pyaar ki 2. Currently, the actor is the playing the male lead in the Star Plus show FALTU. 

In 2013, Aakash served as the host of the television miniseries Act Now, India. Aakash was also a part of Colors TV’s Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass and went on to co-star with Jigayasa Singh on Thapki Pyaar Ki 2.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and he spoke about his throwback memories and playing pranks on the sets of Thapki Pyaar Ki 2.

Any rumors about yourself that you have heard and think are silly or bizarre?

People think that I am some 40 years old and I have directed so many movies and shows but I am not that old. All that information about me on Google is actually false. I have not done all those things that are mentioned about me.

The funniest thing you have done to meet a ‘script ki demand’?

I had a done a show called , ‘TV ke uss paar’, where I had to run behind a stray dog, but tht stray dog only ran away in half the shot and in another incident I had a vessel on my head for two days straight. So, yeah I have done quite a lot of things to meet the script ke demand.

Who would you say is your secret crush from the TV industry?

I think Mrunal Thakur is my crush, but she is not from the TV industry anymore. But I think she is lovely.

Are there any funny memories from the set of Thapki Pyaar Ki 2 that you remember?

Actually, we had a lot of fun every day and I still get nostalgic and laugh sometimes. There was one particular incident where a costar of mine was shifting one day and he told me that he does very realistic acting of getting a fit. I told him to do that and I called up our EP and told him that this guy is not feeling well and stable and I told him that I will have to take him to the hospital and everybody started panicking and I stopped answering the EP’s call because we were in the middle of the shoot and when we reached on the set it was complete mayhem.

Aakash is currently seen on the new show Faltu opposite Niharika Chouksey who plays the titular role of Faltu on the show.
