MUMBAI: Amit Lohia, who has been a part of several shows like Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, Kumkum Bhagya, and Baalveer Returns, has bagged his next.

The actor will be seen in WOW Originals’ Chingari Chaubey, produced by Shiv Yadav and Rajiv Kumar. The series will star Nimki Mukhiya fame Bhumika Gurung in the lead role. Amit and Bhumika will depict the role of cops in the series.

On bagging the series and playing the role of a cop for the first time, he shared, “I have played varied types of roles in the past, but I am playing a cop for the first time. I feel honoured and responsible the moment I get into the look of a cop. It was always my dream to play a police inspector, and finally, it has been granted.”

On working with Bhumika, he said, “Bhumika and I have worked together in Nimki Mukhiya earlier. It is lovely working with her. She is very talented and a great human being.”

When asked which particular role he wishes to play in the future, he replied, “Well, I would love to play Lord Hanuman in a show. Since I have done mythological shows in the past, I can play the part of Hanuman very well.”

Chingari Chaubey will also star Sunil Bob and Sameeksha Gaur.
