MUMBAI : TTellyChakkar broke the news about model and actress Vallari Viraj entering Sony Entertainment Television’s Punyashlok Ahilyabai. She plays the character of Parvati. She is the daughter of producer Viraj Londhe. She has even won the title of ‘Maharashtra’s Shravan Queen’.

In a conversation with TellyChakkar, Vallari spoke briefly about her journey, her dream role, and more.

How has your journey been as an actor?

“Everyone has to do their bit of hard work. I had to struggle in the beginning to get a break. I used to juggle between auditions. I gave two auditions, and then, the channel selected me.”

What kind of character do you wish to play?

“I would love to play a role similar to that of Richa Chadda in Fukrey or Vidya Balan in Kahaani.”

Any dream actors?

“I would love to work with Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan. I also admire Tapsee and Richa Chadda a lot.”

What do you do apart from acting?

“I run a pet and grooming shop for cats and dogs called Bath and Barks. That's like a stressbuster for me. I also run a rescue centre for animals along with my mom.”

Punyashlok Ahilyabai is based on the life of queen Ahilyabai Holkar, who reigned over the region of Malwa from 1767 to 1795. It stars Aetashaa Sansgiri, Rajesh Shringarpure, Gaurav Amlani, Aditi Jaltare, Krish Chauhan, and Snehalata Vasaikar in the lead roles.

Punyashlok Ahilyabai is produced by Dashami Creations, who currently also bankrolls Mere Sai on Sony TV. They are soon coming up with a new mythological show titled Brij Ke Gopal, which will narrate the story of Lord Krishna. (Read here: BREAKING!
