MUMBAI:  Chandan Anand aka Binoy Roy Choudhary has been an eminent name in the industry apart from tv he broadened his horizons with Theatre, Films and Web world. His skills have always been a talk of the town and now for his role as Binoy in Barrister Babu. 

Colors’ Barrister Babu has gained popularity with its attempt at highlighting societal norms, taboos, and superstitions. They also try to give an effective solution to these issues and educate their viewers on right and wrong.

In an exclusive conversation with Chandan Anand, we asked him a few things like:

As an actor do you take your character home after an intense scene or you can switch between the reel and real?

There was a time when being an actor the character goes along with you for a certain time. It happens when you are working daily, but now as I am doing different shows together, since a few years I have been able to make that switch more easily as I need to keep changing my characters with multiple projects. 

Now I don't take it but actors are such who tend to go deeper in the skin of their roles, even if you don't wish, its shades begin to touch your persona. The switch would be difficult but with time and practice that can also be achieved. 

Tell us something about your bond with Aurra aka Choti Bondita

It is a completely different vibe with Aurra, As an actor, one has to always keep in touch with your inner kid. When she came, she was the protagonist of the show. When I saw her acting, I asked her "How do you perform so well?" she said, Pata nahi. well, that's what taught me that an actors performance is always unpredictable. One can never decide how would he perform for the final take. No rehearsals or byhearting lines can predict your final performance. Aurra was the most adored kid on the show and her energy was infectious. 

I was the only one who was allowed to make reels with her by her family, and she used to be full of life on the set. I still remember post covid, we used to keep precautions and she often forgot to wear a mask, I used to tell her to mask on and she had even kept a name for me, "Aap Chowkidaar ho yahan ke"? I am still in touch with her. She will always have a big space in my heart. 

What kind of a bond do you share with Anchal?

After Aurra, we have Krisha on the sets and their energy is indeed overwhelming.  These kids are enjoying each and every moment. Looking at them I feel it's great to forget worries and just work happily. Anchal is also a marvellous actor, she is passionate about her work. It is astonishing to see how the young talents are passionate about their work, it is always fun to work with such amazing actors. 

It is indeed exciting to know how adorable Aurra has been to all her co-stars and how Chandan Anand receives a refreshing note while working with young talents like Anchal, Pravisht, Bhavya and all.
