MUMBAI: Popular TV actress Kaveri Priyam became a household name for her character Kuhu in Star Plus' show Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke.
The show went off-air last year, and after staying away from the screens for a few months, the actress is back with another show.
The pretty diva is seen in a lead role in Sony SAB's show Ziddi Dil Maane Na.
Kaveri is portraying the character of Monami in the show and is paired opposite TV hottie Shaalien Malhotra.
Ziddi Dil Maane Na hit the small screens last year and is doing extremely well since the beginning.
The actress' character is quite different from her previous shows.
The audience has showered all the love and praises on her.
The current track of Ziddi Dil Maane Na is witnessing Karan and Monami's romance. However, new problems await Karan and Monami's love story as Aneesh has called Monami's father to the academy and both of them will try their best to separate them.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Kaveri opened up about the show and much more.
What kind of progress have you seen in Monami's character from the beginning till now?
Every character has a graph and so does Monami’s. From being timid and unable to speak for herself to telling her father that she can make her own decisions and being able to confess her love for Karan, Monami's character has come a long way. Now along with being fierce, she is bolder.
Tell us about your bond with Amitt, who plays Aneesh's role. How has been the experience with him?
Amitt is extremely fun to work with. He keeps cracking jokes. The environment on the sets become quite jovial around him.
Aneesh is trying his best to separate Karan and Monami. What can viewers expect in the upcoming track?
With the presence of Aneesh in the academy, things are for sure not going to go smooth between Karan and Monami. Aneesh I guess will leave no stone unturned to create a rift between them. It will be exciting to watch how.
Karan and Monami recently went on a date and viewers were thrilled to see their cute romance.
