MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali is one of the most popular shows on the small screens.

The daily soap which started earlier this year is working wonders and viewers are in love with the interesting twists and turns in the story.

Each and every character has evolved a lot with time and fans are loving all the amazing changes.

The viewers have also seen many new entries in the show as the story progressed.

And now, the show is gearing up for yet another entry.

TellyChakkar has exclusively learnt that actress Snehal Waghmare has bagged the show.

Snehal will be seen as ACP Laxmi in the show. The actress has already started shooting for the same.

Snehal has previously done shows like Punyashlok Ahilya Bai and Mere Sai - Shraddha Aur Saburi.

Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali stars Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar in the lead roles.

The show also stars Sayli Salunke, Geeta Tyagi, Ajinkya Joshi, Snehal Borkar, Sameer Deshpande, Asmita Ajgaonkar, Snehal Reddy, among others.

Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali is based on Star Maa's Telugu series Gorintaku and produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films.
