TellyChakkar got in touch with Shubhaavi who spoke at length about the show and much more and also graciously gave some interesting responses.
What kind of looks are you sporting in the show? How different it is from your previous projects?
It is very sweet of Ekta, the creatives and the stylists to give me a look that is always different from my previous characters. This one is completely different from what I had done in a daily soap before. However, I have sported such a look in commercials but not in the shows. My look is extremely classy and she is very different from my previous characters.
Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 worked wonders and now Bade Ache Lagte Hai season 2. Do you feel any pressure with regards to performance and if the show will do well or not?
I am not the kind of person who takes any stress or any pressure. I am only listening to what narration I have got from Ekta, what the creatives want and what the director and I can get on the lens. I will think about my own improvement and do something about it. But just because it's a big show and I should take the pressure, it's not like that.
Are you ready for both positive and negative or maybe mixed reactions from the viewers as there are chances of comparisons?
Always! There are no two ways about it. I think if you can get appreciation and if you enjoy getting appreciated, it is also amazing to take critical appreciation. Because if you don't get ego in your way, the best part is you are educating yourself and making yourself better. I am happy to listen to what people have to say. I think that's great.
Shubhaavi has been a part of many Ekta Kapoor's shows like Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thii, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Bade Acche Lagte Hain season one, among others.
We are sure Shubhaavi's fifth collaboration with Balaji Telefilms and Ekta will surely work wonders.
