EXCLUSIVE! Soma Rathod aka Sophia Bakshi of Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai reveals upcoming track, talks about who is close to her on sets and whether the actors get along

MUMBAI: Soma Rathod is a well-known actress on television, known for her roles in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai and Jitha Ji Chat Par Hai. 

She is a versatile actress and is known for her comic roles. She portrays her role well and gives full justice to the characters she plays. 

Currently, she is seen in the serial Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai, where she essays the role of Sophia, CP's mother, who sometimes behaves very unusually and never misses any chance to roast the Jindals. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Soma and asked who she is close to on the sets, to which she said that she is close to Feroz Khan (Advocate Chakraal Bakshi), her brother on-screen, and her husband on screen Anup Upadhyay as she shoots maximum scenes with them.

She also spoke about the upcoming track where she said that the audience will get to see a lot of romance between Sophia and Jaldiram. The horror quotient is going to be upped, and a track of comedy plus horror is waiting for fans. 

We also asked her what the stars are up to on the sets of the show, to which the actress said that they aren’t that open with each other and don’t get time off the sets. 

But they are very professional with each other, and they do a little bit of fun while shooting and rehearsing the scenes. They do a lot of improvisation while they shoot.
