MUMBAI: Starplus' Imlie has been a show that stayed in the top position and has been maintaining its mark with its grappling storyline and intriguing characters. The show has Mayuri Deshmukh, Gashmeer Mahajan and Sumbul Touqueer in leads respectively.

People usually fall in love with a character played by their favourite star on-screen but very few actors leave their imprints in the reel characters that they play and make it stand out of the crowd. One such actor is Indraneel Bhattacharya. 

We got in touch with Indraneel and asked him about his bond with Mayuri and Sumbul to which he shared an amusing anecdote, "Both the girls are like my daughters off-screen as well. Though I am more like a friend to Mayuri, I have paternal instincts for Sumbul as she is the youngest in the team."

While sharing the anecdote, "I still remember while we were shooting in Ramoji, there was a major storm one night and Sumbul got frightened in her room as the window broke open, she ran to us and spoke about the incident. I called the reception and got furious about the situation and demanded safer alternatives. That moment really felt like she shares the same lovable bond offscreen, I told her firmly that anything she needed I was always a call away"

Well, we can see that warm bond on-screen as well between Dev and Imlie.
