EXCLUSIVE! Tanisha Mehta opens up on shooting promo with co-star Avinesh Rekhi for Ik Kudi Punjab Di, reveals he is extremely humble and a grounded person to work with

MUMBAI: Tanisha Mehta who has done shows like Shubh Laabh - Aapkey Ghar Mein, Lag Ja Gale and many others is all set to be back on small screens with her new show. 

The actress will be seen in the lead role in Zee TV's show Ik Kudi Punjab Di opposite Avinesh Rekhi. 

The viewers are waiting to see this fresh new pairing soon in the show. 

As the show's launch inches closer, TellyChakkar got in touch with Tanisha who spoke about the show, her co-star Avinesh and much more.

 Talking about her experience while they shot the promo together, Tanisha said, ''We had shot for the promo for a very short period of time. We were playing a very intense scene and we were very much in character. Because we have a vanity, so our rooms are next to each other. We were practising our dialogues. He was saying dialogues from his room and I was responding. It was a good way to rehearse. That was the only funny part.''

Revealing qualities about her co-star Avinesh, Tanisha said, ''I know he is a very humble person and extremely grounded. I feel so blessed that my co-actor is very grounded and humble. We have to gel along with the co-star if we are going to work for so many hours on a daily basis. Otherwise, work will become difficult.''

Tanisha spoke about her experience shooting in Punjab for a promo, she said, ''It is a very different feeling. It gives an authentic feel to shoot in Punjab.''

The actress also had a very beautiful message for the viewers and said, ''We all are working very hard for this show and the concept is amazing. Please do watch the show.''
