MUMBAI: Akshit Sukhija is a talented actor. 

He will soon be seen in Star Bharat show Lakshmi Ghar Aayi and Tellychakkar.com got candid with him. 

Speaking about his character, Akshit shared, “I did not expect that the story would have a brilliant turn. I am having a good time shooting for the show. I can relate with the character as Raghav by atleast 50 percent so it was easy for me to enact the role. The X factor about my role is that compared to the characters that I have portrayed so far, Raghav is more confident. My character is very strong, confident and won’t ignore certain things come what may. I have learnt so many things as apart of technicalities and have got amazing co-actor.” 

“The topic of dowry is very delicate if it is not presented properly. The concept of dowry may not be different but the way we show the love story, the humour and the added elements to the concept are very different and that is what makes the show a must-watch. Speaking about my personal opinion on the concept of dowry, I feel finalizing a marriage on the basis of dowry is very wrong! What parents give to their daughter as per their wish is fine but it is wrong to establish a lifelong relationship on a give and take basis,” he added. 

Speaking about his bond with Simran, Akshit said, “I have shot only 6 to 7 scenes with Simran Parneeja but we are getting to know each other and also understand each other’s pattern. She is very calm and patient.”
