MUMBAI: A lot of casting directors in the industry have made their mark with their excellent work. 

From launching newbies to giving big breaks to talented stars in various TV shows, films, and web shows, casting directors are the backbone of any project. 

There are many casting directors who have their own agencies and acknowledge the talent of aspiring actors and actresses. 

One such is casting director Avinash Singh Chouhan whose journey will be a huge inspiration to many.

Avinash got candid about the same in an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar.

Revealing how he started his journey, Avinash said, ''I worked as a chef at a five-star hotel when I came to Mumbai. I loved cooking and my family wanted me to have a degree. My parents were not aware for a year that I had quit my job to pursue my passion.''

Avinash revealed that he met a lot of celebrities like Akshay Kumar and Sunny Leone while working at a five-star hotel. And that's how he made some contacts. 

Avinash has been in this industry for more than 5 years. 

''I started my journey with coordination and supply of artists for various projects. I approached a lot of casting directors for work, but no one paid any heed. Then I realised that I should get in touch with directors and some other people. Later, I started off with my own agency, and I am working as an individual casting director for the past 6 years.''

Avinash has worked on more than 100 ad films. 

He has also done casting for several web shows like Asur, Crassh, and LSD. 

Avinash owns his own casting agency named M.D Casting. 

Avinash reveals that he has not received enough credit and recognition for his work and wants people to know him for it. 

The talented casting director has come a long way in his career with his hard work and dedication. 

Avinash is currently involved in the casting of many upcoming web shows.
