MUMBAI: While storylines are the driving point of the show, casting plays an integral part of the whole gamut!

It is important for the right faces to be cast to play that particular role as they are the ones who will establish that emotional connection with the audience.

 And while we have seen a lot of on-screen  pairings of the lead, there are some relationships with the parent which also makes a huge difference. The mother- son duo is important but somewhere the matriarch also manages to establish connections with the other characters of the show. However, the duo of the father and the son is something unique and special.

For the uninitiated, we absolutely love the pairing of Moloy and Anurag in Kasautii Zindagii Kii. Similarly, Ashish Chowdhry too has taken off wonderfully playing a father to Shivin Narang!
