MUMBAI: Many shows are returning to television with new seasons, and fans are excited to watch their favourite shows in a new avatar. 

In the recent past, some shows have come out with season two with the same star cast, while others have a completely new team.

The recent show to join the season 2 brigade is Colors' popular show Sasural Simar Ka, which had Dipika Kakar and Dheeraj Dhoopar in lead roles. 

In the recent promo of the show, Dipika tells the audiences about Simar coming back and how excited she is. 

Fans are also excited to watch the show again. Remember ‘Mataji’ from season 1? Jayati Bhatia has been roped in Sasural Simar Ka 2 in a similar role. It is further known that the actress will be playing a much older woman and will be addressed as ‘Dadiji’ this time. 

Well, we asked Jayati about her excitement for the show and how much will she miss her co-actors like Manish Raisinghan and Avika Gor as they haven’t been retained in the show. Jayati shared, “Well, I miss the entire cast of Bhardwaj family and cannot wait for the time when Bhardwaj and Oswal's will shoot together! Speaking of TRP’s, I would like to say that the audience is god. I would like to tell the viewers that it is not always that what they are expecting is delivered however, just stay with us as you never know in what direction the show will progress!”
