MUMBAI : Saath Nibhana Saathiya, produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms aired in the year 2010 and had an amazing run until 2017.

While initially the show starred Giaa Manek in the titular role of Gopi Bahu, Devoleena Bhattacharjee later took on the role. Actors namely Rupal Patel, Mohammad Nazim, Rucha Hasabnis, Vandana Vithlani, Vishal Singh and many others were seen in the show. The show is renowned for the unique characterization of each role particularly, Kokila, played by Rupal and Gopi Bahu along with Rashi played by Rucha.

Infact, over a period of time, there have been interesting clippings of the show being circulated where Gopi washes Ahem’s laptop and the recent one being, the video of ‘Rasode Mein Kaun Tha’. Well, the show is coming up with a season 2 and the buzz is that Devoleena will be a part of the initial episodes of the show and then the story will focus on her daughter Gehna. Talking about what we can expect from the show, we hope that this time, the makers show a balanced Gehna who knows that laptops shouldn’t be washed and is at par with Ahem and not a docile daughter in law who is a sidekick of her mother-in-law as she is not accepted by her husband.

We also wish to see Gehna challenging back to all her villains and vamps who do not wish the best for her. To put it in simple words, it would be nice to see a protagonist in a little grey shaded role. We sure know that Gopi would have instilled the best of values in her daughter and apparently, it will be Radha’s daughter who will take revenge from her. We would also like to see the equation of Rashi’s daughter or son with her!
