Himmanshoo Malhotra and Shivshakti Sachdev to feature in Bodhi Tree's first story for Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Himmanshoo Malhotra and Shivshakti Sachdev

Tall and lanky Himmanshoo Malhotra recently played a cop in Sony TV’s Encounter. And now the actor will be essaying a cop’s role yet again for an episodic story of Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui.

This particular story will be special as this will be the first story of Yeh Hai Aashiqui produced by Sukesh Motwani’s Bodhi Tree Productions. Our readers would remember reading an article here on Tellychakkar.com wherein we had reported about Bodhi Tree joining BBC Worldwide Productions in producing episodic stories for the popular Bindass show. As reported, two stories in a month will come from BBC, while the other two would be made by Bodhi Tree.

Moving on to the story, Himmanshoo will be paired with Bebo fame Shivshakti Sachdev. The story will be about an honest cop Mayur (Himmanshoo) who will raid a certain place which would deal with human trafficking. And the cop will bump into a girl Bhoomi at the raid spot, essayed by Shivshakti who would be innocent, completely unaware of the crime happening around her. The story will revolve around the manner in which Mayur would fall for the girl’s innocence and simplicity and will help her get out of the mess.

We tried contacting Himmanshoo, but could not get through to him.

When contacted, Shivshakti told us, “I don’t think I am allowed to talk about the story. All I can say is that I will play a very today’s girl.”

This particular story will be aired in the third week of June.
