MUMBAI: Manisha Purohit is a popular TV actress and is well-known for her role Jalpa in Star Plus' hit drama series Humari Devrani. The actress played the role of a Gujarati housewife in the show but her character stood out among everyone and she simply made everyone go gaga over her stellar performance. 

While fans still remember Manisha for her role in the show, the actress has done several TV shows, films and theatre in Gujarati film industry as well. 

Manisha is one such actress who has tasted success in all the mediums and is highly loved by the viewers. 

Due to the ongoing lockdown, Manisha is also spending time with her family and indulging in a variety of stuff. From keeping herself fit to doing the household chores, Manisha is making the most of it. 

During her exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Manisha who recently celebrated her birthday revealed what she did on her special day.

Manisha revealed that she dedicated her special day to her family and spent time with them. Apart from that, the actress revealed that she is the representative of her society and doing all her duties of taking care of her society. 

The Humari Devrani star said that she dedicated a couple of hours where she supervised the workers as some tree-cutting and cleaning work was taking place in her society. The actress also revealed that she took all the necessary precautions and took care of her safety while she was indulged in this social work. 

Well, Manisha definitely made great use of her special day by dedicating it for some social work. 

On the work front, Manisha is currently on a break and hasn't signed any new projects yet. The actress has been a part of shows like Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo, Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi, among others.
